Good Ole' Tim

This morning was full of errands errands errands. But the good thing is that I got to stop by the public library and check out a book or two.... and see the creepers/people without computers. There are always so many creepers at the library who eagerly wait for their computer ticket number to be called so they can roam the internet while listening to music and stalking others on twitter, myspace, and facebook. Today however was story time! Ideal childhood story time: 50+ kids, parents, storyteller (and assistants), librarians. But NO!!!!! Some adults love story time. Adults who aren't there with their kids....

After I left the library to go pick up my brother from tennis practice I came back to the library to pick up the crew but of course story time was not over. Right as I was about to leave I looked in the corner and there was Tim. Tim from the barbershop.

Let me describe Tim for you: He's a black, goofy looking man who is probably in a semi-hobo state (he's pretty much a hobo but he makes dough doing odd jobs like coming to my house in the middle of the day and collecting our pinestraw to sell to other people...) He always makes an apperance in the barbershop I go to and talks about how he's going to get laid somehow and other random (and unbelievable) stuff like how he rode his moped to James Brown's funeral (because his truck has no windows or windshield...go figure). He has an overall lazy look belly and all... gapped teeth, goofy smile, fresh haircut though... and he's always wearing old shirts like the 1994 Super Bowl shirt or one of the original FUBU shirts. Snap! You get the picture.

So there was Tim just standing there listening to the storyteller intensely and I just broke down. I was laughing the entire time I was leaving the library. Why would Tim be at the library for storytime? It's a kid activity! No Tim allowed! He could at least been standing in front of the storyteller and not behind him..... I'm glad he didn't bring Willie Clyde though.... that would have been double sticky funny though.... Two flat tires and a muffler draggin', bumpin up and down in Willie's stationwagon! Willie Willie, Willie Willleeee!

After all of that I picked up my sis from Little China (the one owned by the white man that pretends he's asian..accent and all) and I sped home to devour the General Tso chicken she gave me. What a morning! Blah blah blah bye.

A Great Day Indeed

There was a crooked man, and he walked a crooked mile
He found a crooked sixpence against a crooked stile
He bought a crooked cat, which caught a crooked mouse
And they all lived together in a little crooked house

--------------------------------------------------------------------

I just had the best banana pudding in my life and it was made by MAMA!!! Hahaha. So good! Does any one think its weird that I want to go see the new Pixar movie Up? I understand that I'm not a kid anymore, but I saw the preview on TV and... it looked good. The only problem is that it looks like no one else wants to go see it with me. I could always go with my cousins but.... no. I could go by myself but that maybe creepy, and I may run into some trouble. Will you go with me?

Today was a pretty good day. Lunch was delicious! I had ribs, cabbage, green beans, chicken, chicken, chicken, rice and gravy, potatoes, and some sweet Mountain Dew. Do the DEWWWWWWWW. Do- the- strand. Doot doo doo doo. I also talked to one of my high school friends for an hour or two and that was very cool. It's so strange to see all of my high school friends graduating and going on to grad school! Time flies....

So its summer time and everyone is traveling! Woo hoo. But today I was reading an article about the most dangerous countries to visit and I started thinking: why would you want to take a trip to Afghanistan, Pakistan, or Iraq for fun? or how about North Korea?

Take a look at the list:

KFC Don't Mess Wit Me!

Mary had a little lamb,
little lamb, little lamb,
Mary had a little lamb,
whose flea was white as gold (or whose sleep was white as snow)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Did you know that teens love KFC? Is it the biscuits? the mac and cheese? oh! I bet its the chicken! This" aspiring artist"(haha yeah whatever) obviously loves KFC. And no, its not me.

Read it: http://www.wmctv.com/global/story.asp?s=10420408

The "You fire me.. I rob you" philosophy always works out so well. Now that he is going to jail he can pursue his dream of becoming an artist without any distractions. He is going to be living the sweet life: no homework, free food, lots of friends (unless no one likes him), a sweet jumpsuit, and he'll probably have the opportunity to meet many other aspiring artists. Inspiration galore! Hell, he may even write a book about the mistreatment of KFC employees. New York Times bestseller.....

So far my day has been pretty good. I woke up kinda late this morning and didn't get to eat breakfast at my usual time but the toaster strudels I ate made me forget about all of that bad stuff. The French Open has started so I'll probably watch some of it today while I'm taking a break from practicing..... I think I'm going to have a relaxing day. zoom....

Hobos, Heat, and Some Nonsense

I went to a house and I knocked on the door;
The lady comes out and says, "You've been here before"
She gives a loud whistle and I run for my life!
Well, wouldn't you know, it's the constable's wife.

Hallelujah, I'm a bum,
Hallelujah, bum again,
Hallelujah, gimme a handout
And you'll be my friend

"Now, why don't you settle down and get yourself a wife?"
"I'd rather be a BUM for the rest of me life!"
"If you got a job, then you'd be my honey"
"I wouldn't marry you if I had lots o' money!"

Hallelujah, I'm a bum,
Hallelujah, bum again,
Hallelujah, gimme a handout
And you'll be my friend

"And SHing (or sing) for my thupper (supper) when I'm down and out"

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Singing sounds much better than SHing... I guess if I was desperate enough I would....
Church today was pretty good. The cologne/perfume level was lower than it was last week and even though it lasted forever, I am glad that I wasn't dying of heat exhaustion. My house though! Very hot. Got the lil' and big fans running.... mama needs to turn on the A/C! I can't breathe..where is my inhaler? Eww I just sucked some lint into my lungs.....ok I feel better now.

Yeah this is going to be a short entry..... beware of the staring monkey and tell me that you love me.

Back Again

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall
Humpty Dumpty fell down and cracked his head open...

Humpty Dumpty revealed a surprise
Humpty Dumpty has many sharp little eyes...oooo... now that looks nice and smooth.

This summer seems promising. Just went to beach this past week and since I don't have a job it looks like I will have lots of practicing time. Right now my life is filled with the fresh scent of apple mango tango, insufficient funds, lengthy rehearsals, frequent chauffeuring, and the ongoing battle between me and my finger nails. This is the nth time I have tried to stop biting my nails but it happens every time; after a week or so I look at my nails and they scream at me until I give in to their one desire: total annihilation. So I bite. and bite. and bite until the skin below them begins whining about how I am undressing it. Then I stop, cry, and wait. Then when the nail grows back... bite bite bite bite bite bite. The good thing about biting my fingernails is that it is not as sick as biting my toenails. Could you imagine me sitting in your house, on your sofa, or in your bed.... biting my toenails and spitting them everywhere? I guess it would be a fun, salty experience for me but what about you? Would you like it?
