Good Ole' Tim

This morning was full of errands errands errands. But the good thing is that I got to stop by the public library and check out a book or two.... and see the creepers/people without computers. There are always so many creepers at the library who eagerly wait for their computer ticket number to be called so they can roam the internet while listening to music and stalking others on twitter, myspace, and facebook. Today however was story time! Ideal childhood story time: 50+ kids, parents, storyteller (and assistants), librarians. But NO!!!!! Some adults love story time. Adults who aren't there with their kids....

After I left the library to go pick up my brother from tennis practice I came back to the library to pick up the crew but of course story time was not over. Right as I was about to leave I looked in the corner and there was Tim. Tim from the barbershop.

Let me describe Tim for you: He's a black, goofy looking man who is probably in a semi-hobo state (he's pretty much a hobo but he makes dough doing odd jobs like coming to my house in the middle of the day and collecting our pinestraw to sell to other people...) He always makes an apperance in the barbershop I go to and talks about how he's going to get laid somehow and other random (and unbelievable) stuff like how he rode his moped to James Brown's funeral (because his truck has no windows or windshield...go figure). He has an overall lazy look belly and all... gapped teeth, goofy smile, fresh haircut though... and he's always wearing old shirts like the 1994 Super Bowl shirt or one of the original FUBU shirts. Snap! You get the picture.

So there was Tim just standing there listening to the storyteller intensely and I just broke down. I was laughing the entire time I was leaving the library. Why would Tim be at the library for storytime? It's a kid activity! No Tim allowed! He could at least been standing in front of the storyteller and not behind him..... I'm glad he didn't bring Willie Clyde though.... that would have been double sticky funny though.... Two flat tires and a muffler draggin', bumpin up and down in Willie's stationwagon! Willie Willie, Willie Willleeee!

After all of that I picked up my sis from Little China (the one owned by the white man that pretends he's asian..accent and all) and I sped home to devour the General Tso chicken she gave me. What a morning! Blah blah blah bye.
